Rock the Bells 2011 -- SF Edition
Mos Def rocking the mic

Souls of Mischief with Hieroglyphics

Then comes out Common with probably the liveliest sets of the Main Stage, never a dull moment, even had a little free flow. " I come to SF, because I'm a Giant."

He got the crowd going crazy.

Mos Def and Talib Kweli

By now we're in the 4 o'clock hour and of course for 4:20 Cypress Hill is on stage.

Nas performing Illmatic seventeen years later with DJ Premier and Pete Rock.

It's true.

Lauryn Hill just blew me away with "The Final Hour" and "Everything is Everything," but my camera couldn't even handle the fire that is the Fugees' classic " Ready or Not."
Nas came out to perform " If I Ruled the World " with Lauryn Hill during her encore set.

Lauryn Hill went into overtime against the stage manager's order and ended the night with Bob Marley's "Could You Be Loved."

That looks like a great time and great music. If I could afford the travel insurance I would be there. Maybe next time.
